Warhol on a Wednesday

Perrier's limited-edition Warhol labels are works of art in and of themselves!
Admittedly, I am already hooked to sparkling water but how can you resist a refreshing drink with such a fabulous label?
This may have just made me partial to Perrier!

Yesterday would have been the pop-artist's 85th birthday so as an ode to his milestone birthday and the famous 1983 collection of 40 works of art featuring the iconic bottle, Perrier decided it's about time they honor the legend!

So, here's to you Andy. Bottoms up!

The 750 mL bottles are adorned with one of four labels
(but there are various quotes making for actually 28 variations so don't stop looking at 4!)

Toddy Tuesday!

Yum!
There are few things that make the approaching cold weather tolerable, Christmas-time is one of them (although I would pick-up and move to the islands for Christmas - and never return - if I could), and a hot toddy is the other!

So in the spirit of the next 32 days of merriment, prepare your bar with the perfect toddy fixins!

Cheers!

Bear, think they serve Toddies in gauntlets?
Only one way to find out...
Meet you there?

Cherry Blossom Bliss!

Oh, how pretty they are!
The Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom in DC (despite the cold)!
It always surprises me how quickly the normally sparse trees fill with beautiful pinky white blossoms.
They inspire all sorts of designs - from Cocktails to Fabric...

Arnold Palmer with Cherry Blossom Tea - Don't mind if I do!

I'll never pass up a cocktail, especially not a Cherry Blossom Cocktail

Wellies as a vase - why not?

Pink Macaroons accented by a Cherry Blossom Sprig - looks delic to me!

Cherry Blossom Fabric

This year the Cherry Blossoms, given to the US as a gift from Japan, serve as a reminder of the devastation in Japan and the National Cherry Blossom Festival has incorporated many opportunities for tourists to pay tribute to the victims in Japan and make donations to support Japan relief efforts.
