Wednesday's Wedding Inspired Bliss ~ Ginger Jar Designs

I shared yesterday my new found affinity for Ginger Jars and I don't just want to collect them for decorating - I want them for flowers and table decor too!

Wednesday's Wedding Inspired Bliss is found in the Ginger Jar and the varying displays you can create with these fabulous treasures!

Love this tables cape. The Ginger Jars provide great height to the table!

A little something blue for your tablescape

I spy ginger jars with tulips!

Smaller Ginger Jars can be used as bud vases

Imagine this beautiful display of white hydrangea and Ginger Jars on your events entry hall table... or the guest book table... Or the escort card table. Fairly simple arrangement (assuming you have the Ginger Jars, of course)

Again, the Ginger Jar provides a great vase for flowers that will give your table some height

Stop and Smell the Roses

Whew, what a month it's been.
I have been traveling quite a bit for work and play -- from LA, Santa Monica and San Fran to Memphis and Hudson, O-hi-o! I have had joys of seeing new places and old friends along the way, taking part in and celebrating the marriage of two close friends, celebrating the birthday of a monkey and all sorts of adventures in between.
With good times come sad ones as a dear childhood friend lost her battle with cancer yesterday reminding us all just how precious life is.  Its unfortunate that it takes moments like this to remind ourselves just how special friendships are. For hers and all the friendships in my life, I am so grateful.
In an effort to add some cheer to our day, I hope these bursts of color remind us all to stop and smell the roses!

Bushels of Bliss and Peonies!

I am missing you (and my guilty pleasure) so... and boy do I feel out of loop on all of our favorite blogs!!
While I am loving planning our conference and it is giving me great experience, I am counting down the days (we will be wrapping up one month from today -- at 12:30 pm EST to be exact) until the conference comes to a close and I can return to life outside of my office!
I miss sharing my favorite finds with you but I will return soon!!

For now, I leave with you bushels of bliss and peonies!

 A bushel of beauty!

All you need is two or three to add the perfect vibrant splash to your coffee table!

Oh, What a Wedding!!

I am back from what was the most perfect, fun-filled, joyous wedding weekend of my best friend, C!!
Each wedding event was complete with loads of bliss and cheer (and of course some tears of joy here and there - namely from my Maid of Honor toast which despite the 12+ months I had to prepare it turned into more of a I-can't-talk-because-I'm-so-teary couple of words...) all leading up to what was the most picturesque, beautiful, and special wedding ceremony and reception.
I am honored to have been part of the entire weekend and to stand by C & P's sides as they started their happily-ever-after together!

Here is a quick glimpse of what's to come!

I am chomping at the bit to see the professional photos as one of my all-time favorite photographers, Patricia Lyons, shot the wedding and I just know they are going to be nothing short of AMAZING.
Be forewarned, I will likely be over-sharing them with you once they're finished!

One of the many beautifully orchestrated wedding festivities was the Bridesmaids Luncheon held at the Bride's Godmother's home in the "country."  I loved the rustic, shabby chic, yet sophisticated flower arrangements  so I just have to share!
(Note - apologies for the poor camera quality. Trust me when I say these pictures do not do the beautiful luncheon justice!)

Green Thumb Tuesday . . . Kale-Filled!

Crispy Kale is one of my favorite snacks these days -- if you haven't tried it you need to hop on the bandwaggon because it is crispy, slightly salty, deliciousness and it is good for you!
Anyways, not only is Kale fabulous crispy, but it is the perfect anchor plant in your fall potted container!

Rustic containers are perfect to fill with fall plants - and KALE!

Just because it's fall does not mean you have to leave out the pretty, cheery pinks!
