It's Friday, I'm In Love... with These Closets!

TGIF my friends! Don't know about you but this week has been a doozy!
It's time for me to face the inevitable this weekend and flip my closet.
I despise putting away summer clothes knowing there are so many months of cold, snow, and ice between me and the next time I can wear all of the bright clothes,
But I don't tolerate being cold so gotta do whatcha gotta do...
Thumbing through, looking at these beautiful closets makes this weekends task seem a little more tolerable... maybe one day we can call one of these dressing rooms our own!

Cheers to a closet filled with bliss!

Green Thumb Tuesday . . . Kale-Filled!

Crispy Kale is one of my favorite snacks these days -- if you haven't tried it you need to hop on the bandwaggon because it is crispy, slightly salty, deliciousness and it is good for you!
Anyways, not only is Kale fabulous crispy, but it is the perfect anchor plant in your fall potted container!

Rustic containers are perfect to fill with fall plants - and KALE!

Just because it's fall does not mean you have to leave out the pretty, cheery pinks!

Today's Your Day, Mr. Elephant!

Y'all know it is Elephant Appreciation Day, right?
Psyche (or maybe not to those elephant enthusiasts)!
I most certainly did not however I am more than happy to celebrate a day of the adorable trunk-clad beast!

In your home, at parties, on paper, with monkeys -
I am loving Mr. Elephants appearance in and on just about everything!

In the words of my favorite Doc,

Wednesday's Wedding Inspired Bliss -- Completely Smitten!

In light of all the upcoming wedding bliss I am lucky to get to be a part of -- with my best friend's wedding just over two weeks away -- I was bursting at the seams with excitement when "thumbing" (i.e. clicking) through this month's Smitten Magazine
Smitten always features weddings of varying styles and I look forward to finding some new ideas and tidbits to appease the aspiring wedding planner in me!
Here's to a Smitten Wednesday!

Tara Guerard's Tabelscapes
While fairly basic, Tara offers some simple reminders of the Dos and Don'ts for creating a beautiful tabletop

I do love all of the votive trend these days!

Asheville, NC Wedding
Perfect color palette for the Smokey Mountain backdrop
Beautiful flowers in turquoise mason jars make for the perfect centerpiece arrangements at this chic outdoor affair!

Charleston, SC Wedding at Lowndes Grove
This continues to be one of my all-time favorite venues!
I've been awing over weddings here for year's and each one seems to be uniquely different from the last yet equally as beautiful!
Also, my best friend is getting married here in May!

Fabulous lounge area for guests (and of course, you can't beat this view!)

Tuesday's Tangerine Tango {With a Splash of Cabaret, Cockatoo, and Driftwood}

I refuse to admit we are making our way toward colder days. I am thinking I am going to bypass fall and winter and move on to thinking about Spring 2012! Thoughts?

Pantone's recently revealed Spring 2012 Fashion Color Trends are making it VERY easy to dream about those spring days that are "just" ahead of us...working on the power of positive thinking here!

So here we are, your Spring 2012 palette:
Tangerine Tango, Cabaret, Cockatoo (a new take on turquoise!), and Driftwood - just a few of my favorites!
I say, out with Fall and Winter 2011 and in with Spring 2012!

Tangerine Tango:
A provocative and enticing juicy orange, is a vivacious and appealing refresher to enliven anyone’s outlook this spring.

Cynthia Steffe, Starfish and Tangerine Tango

Cabaret:
A sensual, intense rosy red is scintillating and sexy. Expect lots of it for summer clothing and cosmetics.

Cockatoo:
An unusual blue-green hue adds a whimsical and statement-making touch to the palette.
Lots of blues, including Cockatoo

Blue-green in the living room!

Driftwood:
An adaptable blend of beige and gray with a slightly weathered feel.

Driftwood paired with varying shades of grey
